Here's the latest debate illustration I did for Today's Parent Magazine. It's debating if you, as a parent, would ever leave your child alone in a car (even for just a moment).  You can read it here.

Nature Canada Thank You Card

This was a really fun commission I received through the wonderful people at Agents of Good.  It's an illustration for Nature Canada to be printed as a card and sent out to people who had donated to the organization over the last year.  The client wanted to include water, trees, people and animals.  But it was important that it could look like anywhere in Canada.

I thought the final turned out rather well!  I love doing outdoorsy illustrations.

Today's Parent Paper Cut Flowers

Yay! I am really excited to finally see (and share) this cover!

Back in February, I was asked to make 5 branches of paper cut flowers with little leaves for the May issue of Today's Parent Magazine.  I also spent the morning at the photo shoot cutting and folding last minute extra flowers.  Everyone was super nice and it was great to meet Alicia Kowalewski, the art director, in person.

My flowers might appear in a photo on the interior of the magazine as well.  I'll have to get my hands on a copy to take a look.

Her Nashville Cover Illustration

My Illustration is on the cover of the July issue of Her Nashville Magazine! The theme was Choose Your Own Adventure and features a flip book style of illustration. It was a pleasure to work with the art director, Heather Pierce, again.

Tuba Animation Character Design

Well, my good friend and composer, Alexis Marsh, and I have been talking about working together on an animation for years! And now with the amazing work of the director and filmmaker, Jesse Ewles, we're getting our act together!

We have just submitted an animation to get a Bravo Fact animation grant! We have a solid story, storyboards, music samples, character design (by yours truly) and a background pan sketch.

So fingers crossed!

Interval House : Brochure Illustration

Earlier this summer I had the pleasure to create another illustration for Interval House. The illustration was for a brochure about the woman's shelter.

This piece was art directed by John Lepp of Agents of Good!
